an idea house? what a great idea!
as the bachman’s spring show came to a close, i just had to get over to their idea house to see what ideas they had to share this season. each room was painstakingly designed and decorated in the latest and greatest of their spring merchandise. fresh floral in every room made the entire home smell amazing. here are a few of my favorite details seen on the tour:

pink and gold is so gorg, in a very marie antoinette kinda way. its gaudy without crossing the line and can be articulated in both traditional and modern settings. pink, to me, is tough. it is SO overdone that i tread very cautiously with this feminine tone. in my opinion, pink needs to be paired with at least two neutrals to tone it, ground it and let it shine in the right away. i...
